Weaselworks is a newly established photography company founded by Louisa Griffiths. Weaselworks specialises in portraiture, weddings and event photography.
Louisa studied photography at A-level and then went on to complete her degree in Photography and digital imaging with video production at Thames Valley University.
Louisa has always had a passion for working with children. She worked as a play worker for 5 years which involved working with 4- 11 year olds. She also worked abroad at camp America working as a lifeguard and swim instructor. From these experiences, Louisa has formed relationships with children that have enabled her to take personal, realistic, fun photographs that show the character and true essence of the child. Louisa has a passion for photographing outdoor real life spaces; social documentary is an area of photography that Louisa feels she can incorporate into her portraits to create a study that really shows the subject at a naturalistic level.
Louisa has worked for Exposure photographing various music gigs including Maroon 5 and Kate Nash. Louisa has also photographed events such as the graduate fashion week, Water Aid march and the 2007 SpecSavers awards.
Louisa has been photographing weddings for the past year and has worked for Capital Studios and Image Smith Studios working on a range of weddings including Asian, western and Caribbean weddings.
Louisa uses a mixture of traditional and reportage photography, she mixes the two together with input from the bride and groom to create the perfect collection of memorable photographs.
Louisa has a warm, friendly and professional manner, which is something she is proud of and something that her clients appreciate. These qualities have enabled Louisa to create un-posed, stress free and natural photographs for her clients.
The name Weaselworks comes from Louisa’s nickname as a child. Her father first called Louisa Weasel when she was small and it soon caught on, now everyone close to her uses it. When the idea of a name for her business was brought up, Louisa wanted something that represented her that is where her father suggested Weaselworks…this is how Weaselworks was born.
We hope you empathise with our approach to photography.
